In 2008, Dr. Clayton completed her requirements for the prestigious Fellowship Award in the Academy of General Dentistry and will receive the award in the summer of 2009.

In addition to the Academy of General Dentistry, Dr. Clayton is also a member of the Huntsville-Madison County Dental Society, Women’s Dental Association, the Alabama Dental Association, and the American Dental Association. She devotes her time regularly to the Community Free Dental Clinic.

Aside from dentistry, Dr. Clayton is involved in the Singles’ and Women’s Ministries at her church.  She also enjoys day-hiking and dancing; Dr. Clayton has even danced in two local ballroom dance shows to raise money for Hospice Family Care.
